Centre for inclusion and community support - Pula

Centre for inclusion and community support – Pula is non-governmental organization, which is from 2006 supporting groups of people with intellectual disabilities in the Istrian Region (5 cities).

The main activity of Centre is inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in local community. The staff of Centre has strong experience and expertise in this field. Institution has strong experience in realization of different projects as well as in project management. Center has participated in several projects covering the problem of inclusion people with intellectual disabilities in the local community. 

There are different types of support offering by Centre including daycare centres in different location in Istria, organizing living facilities, preparing people with intellectual disabilities for employment.

Centre for inclusion and community support is recognised as example of good practice in Croatia and is organizing different events on which transfer of good practice is realized. There are 20 paid staff employed at Centre. Organization has strong experience in education of members of non-governmental organization and volunteers in different areas. It has realized several project so its staff have necessary knowledge and experience in the project management and realization of project on national and transnational level.

Because of excellence results achieved by Centre it has organized several education and training for members of NGOs supporting people with intellectual disabilities from whole Croatia.
